Marcie Bomhack Coaching Marcie Bomhack - Head Volleyball Coach, Loyola University Chicago

Former Notre Dame standout Marcie Bomhack landed at Loyola in 2005 and made an immediate impact in her first year at the helm of the Loyola Women’s Volleyball Program. The Ramblers roared through the conference tournament and clinched an automatic berth to the NCAA tournament for the 5th time in the program’s history. In her tenure 5 Ramblers have earned All-Horizon League Honors-including the 2006 defensive Player of the Year and 2005 Tournament MVP.  As a player, Bomhack helped the Fighting Irish to four NCAA Tournament appearances. Bomhack was named the 1998 BIGEAST Championship Most Outstanding Player, the only Notre Dame rookie to ever earn that honor and was an All-BIG EAST Second Team selection in 2000. Bomhack also competed at the highest level of professional volleyball in Barcelona Spain for Club Voleibol Sant Cugat during the 2002 season
Julie Wiejak - Assistant Volleyball Coach, Loyola University Chicago

Wiejak, a 2000 graduate of Loyola, returns to her alma mater on the bench after a record-setting playing career. During her time in Rogers Park, Wiejak totaled 678 kills from her middle blocker position and was a force at the net on defense, finishing her career with 91 solo blocks and 297 total blocks. Wiejak brings extensive coaching experience at all levels and has strong ties to the Chicagoland volleyball community. She served as an assistant coach at DePaul for six seasons and has been active with both the High Performance Program - an extension ofthe governing body of USA Volleyball and Elite Volleyball School.

Andy Cole Coaching Andy Cole - Graduate Assistant Volleyball Coach, Loyola University Chicago

Cole comes to Loyola after a standout playing career at Ohio State. Named MIVA Freshman of the Year in 2003, Cole earned second team all-conference honors three times in his tenure and finished his time as a Buckeye with 1,155 career kills - eighth all-time in OSU history.  Cole also gained experience with USA Volleyball before committing to Ohio State, as he attened the High Performance Camp in 1998-99, was a member of the Youth Training Team in 2000 and participated on the Junior National Team in 2002. Cole also coached at the club level serving as the instuctor for the Wisconsin Power's boys 18s teams out of Madison, Wisconsin.
